Dr. Trobisch travels all over the world to work with original handwritten copies of the Christian Bible. Did you know that there are more than 5000 Greek manuscripts with New Testament text? And that there is not one sentence that has exactly the same wording in each of the copies? David Trobisch will show pictures and tell stories and introduce you to the task and the problems of trying to reconstruct the oldest text of the Christian Bible.

David Trobisch is the author of The First Edition of the New Testament (Oxford University Press, 2000) and Paul's Collection of Letters (2001). Visit www.bts.edu/trobisch for more information.

An offering will be collected to help pay for this event. Please consider giving $5-10 for the lecture and $7-12 for the meal.
