Instructions for setup of computer to type Greek in any font:

Step 1:

Click Start button in lower left corner of computer screen (This opens your Start Menu).

Step 2:

Go to Settings and click on Control Panel.

Step 3:

Once the Control Panel screen comes up look for the Keyboard program (It will actually have a picture of a Keyboard as its Icon).

Double-click on the Keyboard program.

Step 4:

When this program comes up you will see two tabs at the top left of its page. One will be marked Speed and the other Language.

Click on the Language tab.

Step 5:

You will see a box titled Installed Keyboard Languages and Layouts.

In that box click on the Add… button.

Step 6:

This will bring up a dialogue box labeled Add Language. This will have a button with an arrow pointing down.

Click on the arrow.

This brings a drop down list.

Scroll down the list until you find Greek and click on it.

Click the OK button.

Step 7:

Look for the box labeled Switch languages.

Select the Ctrl+Shift section in this box.

Step 8:

Click on the Apply button.

Click on the OK button.

You are done! Now you will be able to type in Greek in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, or Microsoft Excel. You will also notice that there is now a Blue Box with the letters En written in white inside of it. You are able to switch between Greek and English through that Icon. If you click on that Icon, it will bring up a menu with English and Greek listed on it. Just select the one that you want. If you are in English the box will show an En and Greek will show a Gr. You are also able to switch between languages by pressing both the Ctrl key and the Shift key at the same time.

I would suggest that anyone that does this make a chart for themselves showing what letter each key on the keyboard will produce in Greek. It may also be helpful to do this in both Caps and Lower-case letters. Enjoy!
