Book Reviews

Try to be precise and brief. Write the reviews for the other course participants and not for the professor. Do not write more than two double-spaced pages, 500-800 words. Make sure to exactly follow the described format for the bibliographical information in the title. 

You may address the following aspects and use the following headings:

Title

Example:

bulletWho does the author intend to reach?

Thesis

bulletWhat is the thesis of the work?
bulletHow is the work structured?

Evidence Evaluated

bulletWhat kind of evidence is evaluated? (Examples: Greek text, historical background, scholarly research etc.)

bulletHow was your reading experience? Did you like it? Why?
bulletWho do you think will profit the most from reading this work?
