D]ΑD ΠΓΡΟΦΗΤΟΥ ΚΑΙ ΒΑΣΙΛΕWΣ ΜΕΛΟΣ.

Of David, the prophet and King, a song.

Μ]ακαριος ανηρ, ος ουκ ε

Blessed is the man, who does not

     πορευθη εν βουλη ασεβων,

  follow the advice of the godless,

    και εν οδω αµαρτωλων ου

  and on the path of the sinners he does not

    κ εστη : και επι καθε-

  tread. And on the seat

    δραν λοιµων ουκ εκαθι

  of the scoffers he does not

    σεν : αλλ η εν τω νοµω κυ,

  sit. But on the law of the LORD

    το θεληµα αυτου : και εν τω

  his will is set. And in His

    νοµω αυτου, µελετησει ηµερας

  law he delights day

    και νυκτος : και εσται ως το

  and night. And he will be like the

    ξυλον το πεφυτευµενον παρα

  tree planted next

    τας διεξοδους των υδατων :

  to the streams of water.
