CMU343 Orientation to Leading Worship and Supply Preaching  (syllabus)             Imes, William
1 credit
Offers preparation for the responsibility of leading worship and preaching in Protestant congregations. Requirements include the preparation of a worship service and sermon which use the liturgical resourses of the students' particular tradition, as well as the rationale for the theme of the worship service and the type of sermon. This course includes classroom exegetical work on lectionary texts and a brief historical survey of the nature of Christian worship. Enrollment limited to 8. No auditors. [VIDEO]
