International StudentsBangor Theological Seminary has welcomed international students throughout its long history. As a prospective international student, you should plan on contacting the Admissions Office well in advance of your application. You should allow at least 6-8 months before the start of your intended semester to adequately complete this process (more if you have extenuating circumstances.) General Application requirements:
(for more information see "Application Process") International Student requirements: Academic study for non-U.S. citizens is regulated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a division of the Department of Homeland Security. For more information, visit the ICE web page. International students who are admitted to Bangor Seminary will be issued form I-20, providing they meet the following additional requirements: B. Proof of Resources for Tuition/Living Costs: Documentation must demonstrate that the student has the approximately $35,000 per year (estimated for the needs of a single person) that it costs to live and study in the United States per year (minus any scholarship). Please note the M.A. will take two years to complete, and the M.Div. will take three years.
