BTS Presidential Search Process

BTS Presidential Search Committee Listening Forums Scheduled in October

The BTS Presidential Search Committee will be holding listening forums in Bangor and Portland.  The committee invites all members of the BTS community to attend.   The forum will be an opportunity for you to share with the committee the qualities, skills, experience, and vision you feel are critical for our next BTS president.  The committee will use your input to define the candidate profile for our search process.

So that we are prepared with sufficient meeting space and refreshment, please RSVP to the Presidential Search Committee email address: BTS1814@gmail.com

Whether or not you RSVP, or if you just have a few minutes to spare, please stop by one of the forums and let us hear from you.

Bangor Forum: Thursday 10/6 from  10 am – 12 Noon BTS classroom
Portland Forum: Wednesday 10/19 from 10 am – 12 Noon BTS classroom

We welcome your presence and your input.

The BTS Presidential Search Committee has been formed and has started the work to find the best candidates to serve as our next President. The twelve-member committee consists of volunteers representing a wide spectrum of the BTS community: Alumnae and Alumni, staff, faculty, students, trustees, and former trustees. Notices of the open position are being distributed nationally; inquiries are being directed to the committee as noted below.

All community members are invited to be engaged in this process by spreading the word that BTS is seeking a new president. The committee welcomes applications from individuals with strong capacities for leadership, collaboration, management, and outreach who may possess diverse educational backgrounds and professional experiences. We will provide you with regular progress updates through this and other mediums. Thank you for your prayers for this process and for helping to spread the word.
