Bangor Theological Seminary announces new members of the Board of Trustees.

Allison Armstrong Keef, Hermon, is the daughter of Presbyterian missionaries.

A graduate of the seminary, she served on a national committee on theological education for the United Church of Canada and the board of trustees of the Phillips-Strickland House in Bangor. She also served as spiritual adviser for hospice of Community Health and Counseling Services in Bangor.

The Rev. Robert Grove-Markwood, Presque Isle, is pastor of the Presque Isle Congregational Church.

He earned degrees from Oberlin College and Bowling Green State University, both in Ohio, and Bangor Theological Seminary. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Wendy A. Laidlaw, Portland, is chief operating officer of R.M. Davis, a wealth management company in Portland. She is a former chairwoman of the board of directors of the Community Counseling Center of Maine.

Josephine H. Detmer, Cumberland Foreside, taught history for 30 years at the Waynflete School in Portland.

The daughter of the late Gov. Horace Hildreth, she has served on the boards of the Portland Public Library, Greater Portland Landmarks and Victoria Society of Maine and as chairwoman of the board of Diversified Communications.

Julie Bracken, Salisbury Cove, is the founder of the Mimi Foundation, named for her grandmother.

She serves on the board of the Mount Desert Island YMCA in Bar Harbor, the Maine Center for the Arts in Orono and the Causeway Club in Southwest Harbor.

She attended Tulane University of New Orleans, the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

Philip H. Gleason, Portland, is a partner in the law firm Bernstein Shur Sawyer & Nelson in Portland. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, commercial financing, tax-exempt bonds and energy projects. He is a graduate of Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, and the University of Virginia Law School in Charlottesville, Va.
