A panel presentation on

Graduate and Professional Studies in Theological Education

What is theological education?  Is it only for Christians or do Muslims, Buddhists, Jews, Hindus or those of no particular faith tradition also pursue graduate theological degrees?  What professions do graduates of theological education go into?  How are religious leaders of faith communities trained to lead?  What is a Master of Divinity degree?

If you have these and other questions about graduate studies in religion, please join us for a workshop on graduate theological education given by representatives from Harvard Divinity School, Bangor Theological Seminary, Andover Newton Theological School and Yale Divinity School.  Come learn how graduate theological studies can help you blend your intellectual gifts and compassion into a fulfilling vocation.  Whether you wish to become a minister, a professor, a doctor, a teacher, or a lawyer, graduate theological study will enable you to move gracefully and compassionately across our world’s complex religious, cultural and moral landscapes.  Theological education has a long and quiet history of producing great leaders and scholars as well as everyday community heroes and advocates for social justice.  Even if you’ve never heard of theological education before, please join us.  We’ll help you get started on what will be a great adventure.
