Important Announcement from the Seminary

The Board of Trustees of Bangor Theological Seminary unanimously voted to suspend the Masters of Divinity and Masters of Arts degree programs at the end of the 2012-13 academic year in order to explore a range of options for the Seminary consistent with its historic mission of service to the Church, according to an announcement from H. From the President

Dear Friends,

Nearly 200 years ago, Bangor Theological Seminary came into being on the edge of a beckoning northern frontier. Today, we who form the seminary community find ourselves the heirs of a pioneering heritage. Like so many who have gone before us, we are venturing into a future that at times can seem frighteningly unfamiliar. Yet we journey with God and with a profound sense of trust in God’s guiding presence.  We ask that you hold the seminary community in your hearts and minds, praying for us as we continue on this journey of discovery, trusting in the God who promises us a future.

Peace be with you,

Reverend Dr. Robert Grove-Markwood
President
