The Bangor Fund: Sustaining Our Daily Life
One of the most familiar passages in the New Testament, found in Second Corinthians, chapter 8, verse 7, tells us: "…God loves a cheerful giver." Bangor Theological Seminary thanks its multitude of "cheerful givers" who have for 186 years so generously supported, through the Bangor Fund, the daily life of our students preparing for the ministry and the faculty members who teach them.

Your gifts to the Seminary’s annual giving program provide the primary support for the mission of Bangor Theological Seminary. The Bangor Fund provides for one-fifth of the annual budget and supports financial assistance to student scholarships and aid, faculty salaries, classroom materials, and upkeep for the historic campus facilities in Bangor and Portland.

Local churches, alumni/ae, trustees, faculty, staff and local community members all contribute to the Bangor Fund.
