Communal worship and prayer are integral to preparation for ministry. Members of the BTS community assemble regularly for worship on each campus. In addition, students, faculty, the deans and the president contribute to the life of area churches. They attend worship, participate in church-based activities, preach when invited, and provide other kinds of leadership and service. In addition, some students serve as student pastors in churches that provide them with special guidance and support. Finally, alumnae and alumni lead many area and regional churches and are wonderful resources for students.
BTS worship exhibits the ecumenical character of the Seminary, as particular services are conducted according to the various traditions represented in our community.
