announced that the Reverend Dr. William C. Imes, minister of the First
Parish Church, UCC, Brunswick, Maine, will be the ninth president of

The Sacred Space Studios
has opened in the room below
the Commons. The studio will provide a place for the seminary
community to work in a 'common area' with fabric art, as a means of
exploring the sacred with hands, hearts, bodies and minds.

In this show a variety of experiences of sacred space
are offered. A program is provided to the right as you enter the gallery
from the Hammond St. side of the building.

are invited to come and decorate the Commons for the Holiday season - on
Wednesday, December 5 at 7 PM. Please bring a plate of your favorite

Come
one and all, bring your family and friends, to the BTS holiday potluck,
Tuesday, December 11 from 4 to 6 PM. Sign up sheets will be in the Commons
and in Maine Hall. If you'd like to be part of the entertainment,
please let Priscilla Hukki know asap. As has been the custom, the
Grinch will be read by Dr. Miller. Please plan to be a part of this
community gathering of students, staff and faculty and friends.
