Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Augusta, Maine, is seeking a Youth & Family Ministries Director, part time with the expectation of full time employment by the end of 2009. Will be coordinating Christian youth and family ministries for the congregation and community. Applicant must be a Christian; familiarity with Lutheran perspectives is desirable. Training, education, or experience working with youth is required. Skills in recreation, music or teaching are helpful. ZION’S UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, Transfer, Pa needs a pastor. A small two-church charge in Mercer County,Pa.  As of Jan.2008, we are without a full-time minister, due to retirement, and though Penn-West Conference is trying to assist us in our search, we are searching other avenues. The First Baptist Church of Lyme, NH
(PO Box 108 Lyme Center, NH 03769) is searching for a pastor. We are a small traditional American Baptist church in a scenic New England town on the New Hampshire/Vermont border. We minister not only to members and friends but to the wider community. We are looking for a leader to help us grow spiritually, to build the congregation and to assist in our outreach ministry. At present we are using pulpit supply and are looking for a full-time or part-time pastor, depending on qualifications and experience. We would also consider an interim pastor. The Unitarian Universalist Church of Birmingham (UUCB) is seeking a 3/4 time Director of Religious Education (DRE).  We are a 200+ member congregation in Birmingham, Alabama that greatly values its religious education program.   The program serves more than 120 children and youth from preschool through high school.  More than 30 adults volunteer with the program each year.  We also have adult religious education classes.  Our church is vibrant and growing, serving as an oasis of liberal religion in the metropolitan community.   Three years ago we built a new building that provides beautiful and functional space for services and programs.  This past year we welcomed our new minister, the Reverend Bill Leggett, from Portland, Maine.

The members of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Hermitage, PA are seeking a full time pastor to lead us in our journey of faith.  The church’s congregation expressed the need for an individual that is energetic with strong pastoral and preaching skills.  The church’s leadership wants to find an individual that will assist in achieving our long range goals.  We have many hopes, dreams and prayers for our future.

 

The city of Hermitage has a population of 17,000 and it is a vital part of Shenango Valley, which is located in Mercer County, PA.  The Shenango Valley is comprised of eight communities from northwestern Pennsylvania and two from Ohio.
